Detailed Introduction

Teak is highly regarded as a premium material for outdoor furniture due to its remarkable characteristics. One of its key attributes is its natural beauty, featuring warm hues and a rich grain pattern that adds elegance and sophistication to any outdoor setting. Furthermore, teak is renowned for its durability and weather resistance.

Normal use of the product will result in small cracks (hairline cracks) and openings appearing in the wood; this does not detract from the quality or the lifespan of the table, but to the contrary is characteristic of the charm of this product. In general Teak is a light brown wood that discolours to a beautiful platinum grey wood over time. The Teak we sell is factory-coloured to enhance the structure of the wood.

It contains natural oils and rubber, which contribute to its high resistance against rot, insects, and decay. This makes teak furniture suitable for use in environments with high humidity or extreme temperature fluctuations.

Over time, teak furniture will develop a beautiful silvery patina, further enhancing its unique charm and character. Despite its initial cost, teak furniture is a long-term investment that offers both beauty and durability.

Care & Maintenance
Color selection

To maintain the appearance and condition of teak furniture, regular cleaning is necessary. Use a mild soap solution and a soft brush to remove dirt or stains. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or brushes, as they may damage the wood’s surface.

To protect the natural oils and color of teak, it is recommended to apply a teak sealer or teak oil periodically. This helps maintain the wood’s moisture content and slows down the aging process. Depending on the exposure to weather conditions, the frequency of applying sealer or oil may vary.

Additionally, teak furniture can be covered or stored indoors during prolonged periods of inclement weather.
